 My Name is Lisa Henry, and I praise God for this incredible truth that not only has set me free from the greed for food, but has changed my whole outlook on life. I took my first Weigh Down class 10 years ago, only to lose 10 pounds then gain it back. I was never fully committed, then God so graciously gave me another chance to get it right. A few years later I was able to take Weigh Down Advanced, and it changed my life. I've now lost 25pounds and have kept it off for over 5 years. Never to go back!!!!! I understood for the first time that life was not at all about me, but all about God and His kingdom and what pleases Him.
I spent a few years on and off anti-depressants looking for a way to fill that empty place in my heart that God wanted all along. I love him so much now and don't need the anti-depressants any longer, now that God is the Lord and love of my life. His ways are so much better than anything I could ever dream of. I had a marriage filled with strife and on the verge of divorce, and now I have a beautiful marriage of 17 years and two teenage boys who are a joy to guide and train up. This message of truth through Weigh Down is straight from the Word of God and not only will help you with laying down unnecessary food consumption, but will help guide you through all the struggles and difficulties that this world has to offer.
